National Day of Prayer Observation – Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council

Please join us on Thursday May 7, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Civic Center Plaza at Central Park (by the new Christmas Tree), 30268 Civic Plaza Drive, for a brief observance of National Day of Prayer. There will be prayers given from local congregations and community leaders. Limited seating will be provided.

This is the 75th year since a National Day of Prayer was enacted by Congress. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan set aside the First Thursday in May as a National Day of Prayer ‘on which the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals.’
